01Event Format

Two phases.
One championship.

Twenty teams compete pre-Miami at Ultra Padel for seeding. The 16-team bracket lands in Miami the same weekend as the PPL Finals.

Phase 1

Ultra Padel — Pre-Miami

20 teams compete in group stage and Round of 16. Clutch App on-court cameras capture all play. Results feed into WPR seeding for the Miami bracket.

Phase 2

Miami — Stacked with PPL Finals

Quarterfinals, Semis, and Championship at the PPL Finals venue in Miami. A pro-event audience creates massive exposure for college players and the CPL brand.

Most of what college players, club presidents, and athletic departments ask.

Any U.S. college or university with at least two eligible students can register a team. CPL works with USPA to verify institutional affiliation and enroll players as collegiate members.
Each of CPL's six core operator partners hosts a local mini-tournament. The top performing pairs at those tryouts represent their region in the 20-team Playoffs bracket. WPR scores every event and feeds the seeding.
Each player holds a USPA collegiate membership at $10/player. Sponsor partners cover team kits and travel/accommodation for qualified Finals teams. Local tryout court fees vary by host club.
